With her beloved family by her side, Jennifer (Jen, Jenny, Jenny-poo, Baby Girl, Brotha, Jennymoo) passed peacefully from this world to the next in Montreal, at the age of 42.
Jen will be deeply missed by her parents, Diane and Dave (“monkey” and “daddio”); her “sista”, Cheryl (“Cher-bear”); her brother-in-law, “Pauly-Wolly”; and her amour, “Marc-amoo”, as well a large network of family and friends who loved her so very much. Her family was her heart and soul, and she was our fiercest cheerleader. She celebrated Dad’s fishing victories as if he’d reeled in a world record and never tired of raving about Mom’s endless sunset photos. Those she loved never had to wonder— Jen made sure we knew, in her texts, at the end of every phone call, and in the warmth and embrace of her hugs.
Jennifer’s life will be honored with a visitation at the Roland Menard Funeral Home (395 Rue Grace, Lachute, QC, J8H 1M3) on Sunday, March 30, from 1 PM to 4 PM. A private burial will take place in Dunany later this summer.
Our deepest gratitude goes to the incredible medical team at the Royal Victoria (Glen) Hospital ICU, especially Jim York, whose unwavering support guided Jennifer and our family through her courageous fight.
To honor Jennifer’s generous spirit, please consider registering as an organ donor. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Andy’s House Treatment and Rehabilitation Center, to help someone on their path to recovery— Jen would love that.
Jennifer’s love, laughter, and compassionate spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
