George Stein, our beloved father, grandfather, friend, and neighbour, passed away at home early October 23 after a long period of illness at the age of 73.

George was a respected lumberman and consultant with a career spanning over 50 years, and greatly enjoyed tennis coaching in recent years. We remember him for the things he loved: a good cerebral tennis match, a fine glass of French red wine, his home on beautiful Clear Lake, and above all being a wonderful father.

He is predeceased by his mother, Jean, and father, Fred; survived by his son Andrew (Calla) and daughter Katharine and his grandchildren Willow and Rockwell.

 He will be memorialized in a small ceremony in months to come.
